Hailing from Maastricht, in the south of The Netherlands, four-piece Bawrence of Aralia plays forward-thinking pop with hypnotic guitar work. After touring their debut Bawredom (2018), they headed back to the studio to record their sophomore album, Nine Pieces of Insecurity Pie (2025).
The art of relying on one’s ears can be compromised when using a computer to try and shape creative outbursts into coherent songs. Thematically, Nine Pieces of Insecurity Pie explores this balancing act of craving complete control and embracing its absence.
