Sixteenth edition of this annual, fiercely independent showcase festival, initiated by indie label Subroutine Records and concert platform Lepel Concerts, both rooted in the Groningen scene.
We started hosting showcases in 2009 [using label catalog number SR020] to provide a platform and venues for underrepresented acts during the two days of Eurosonic. Since then, we invited over 100 acts to play.
Entrance free, no wristbands, no VIP/priority boarding.
Groningen quartet Vanity Box plays noisy indie rock, influenced by 90s guitar and shoegazer bands. Last year their debut 'Good Luck, See You Friday' came out on local independent label Zeevonk.
Magasin is the latest band of guitarist Michiel Klein (Lewsberg ao), formed with Argentinian singer Lola Cantoni, in their trademark, autonomous constellation of no wave, post punk and art rock.
"Doing dishes playing punk", translating to incredibly catchy melodic and socially critical punk from Amsterdam/Leiden five-piece.
Debut album out in Spring!
Idiott Smith is a moniker of Groningen based musician Roy Veenstra. Visibly engaging with his material whilst being comfortably sentimental, he blends his baritone with subtle backing tracks.
Eindhoven DIY icons SØWT play noisy artrock with critical lyrics, freaky screams and heavy sound explosions, creating beautiful melodies that get ripped apart by the horror of our daily existence.
There's a rustling in the undergrowth. Somewhere between the Peel, the Kempen, and the Meierij. It's the restrained jangle of Free Dust. Ringing guitars, bouncing bass and pulsing beat - captured on a 2025 debut LP 'Dust Free'.
From 2 is an indie folk mutant in the form of five voices – Boudy, Lyckle, Maria, Milla & Otto – collecting the melodies and memories of those about to rock.
Axender is the solo moniker of Marnix Visscher, of Price and Korfbal. With this project, he takes a different path moving to where his alternative roots meet wayward folk.
Don't call it a comeback. Still, considering the sparse performances of seminal Rotterdam noise pop trio The Sweet Release of Death, celebrate the upcoming alignment of cosmic- and band frequencies bringing them back to the pub after nine years.
