In early 2020, noise-pop trio The Homesick released the critically acclaimed SubPop-debut album
'The Big Exercise'. Almost three years later, the band left behind guitar and bass for two stations with
samples, keys, loops and cassettes. What remains are the trademark driving drums and the killer
song material, to be released on a new album somewhere in 2023.

During their existence, noise rock band Space Siren made a huge impact, both on artistic contemporaries and listeners. Almost a decade after their untimely demise, the band present the 'DGDABE' EP with unreleased outtakes, demo's and other studio recordings. With the help of two members of HOWRAH, the band returns to Kult, a venue immortalized in the EP's cover, which is based on a picture of their memorable performance there in 2012. Expect a celebration of music, friendship, a couple of Fenders and an awful lot of guitar pedals.

Indie all-stars Wax and Wane made their debut last Summer in VERA, covering the transcendental songs of Scottisch group Cocteau Twins. The band consists of Brenda Bosma (vocals, Spilt Milk), Erik Schumacher (guitar, Apneu), Roald van Oosten (guitar, Caesar), Niek Hofstetter (bass, Subroutine) and a drum computer. They return to Groningen for a reprise in the upstairs lounge of O'ceallaigh.
Eccentric lo-fi synthwave superstar Karel made a huge impact in the Dutch live-scene, when he first started showcased his breathtaking live antics on unsuspecting audiences. Unlimited and infectious live energy, with the artist swinging from a chandelier or climbing up the curtains, vibing to his trademark ecstatic blend of synth/pop and wave.
Groningen collective Schau Schau made their live-debut last Summer, in the illustrious Downstage of VERA. The band, with more than one familiar face from the local underground, plays catchy rhythmic post punk / new wave, as highlighted on their brilliant single 'Thermodynamics'.
